Sandblast 2008 Results 07/10/2008
First, I’d just like to say that Sandblast 2008 was a complete success, with eleven vehicles and forty-nine drivers taking part during the weekend. We had one car from NSW, five from Victoria and South Aussies made up the other five cars.
Congratulations go to:
- Lones Car 1: Cal Norton Jnr., who took out first place with a domination of the first day’s races.
- Ace Rover Crew Car 11 put in a absolutely great effort to take second place.
- The first Victorian car was The Cab, continuing their recent success in third position.
That of course means that South Australians made up the top two spots, take that Vics!
I’d like to give a hearty thanks to our committee for putting on such a great event and I for one can’t wait for next year to do it all again.
Detailed results will be made available soon.
